Penguin was a tiny magpie chick that had fallen from her nest when a young boy named Noah found her. The family of Noah decided to take care of the injured penguin and constructed a new nest for it within their home. Even as she grew stronger, the bird continued to choose to sleep inside the house despite never being locked.
In the end, she took up residence in the yard adjacent to the home, in a frangipani tree. She no longer regularly goes away for several weeks; instead, she always returns.
